Life in close up

IMG_0602

After a remarkably long week with much news, both creatively and in relation to our ongoing adoption saga, we had a wonderful opportunity to cycle away with my wonderful friend and her equally wonderful Son. You would have heard about this sooner if it weren’t for ongoing Broad Band issues in this areas also.

During our travels, which took in the cycle path heading east towards and eventually to Rottingdean, we came across the wonderful Kipling Park, which frankly I demand all my readers head to this instant!  A wonderful rose and mixed beds garden, a sprawling croquet lawn and shady areas all ideal for picnics and peace away from the mobs heading beach-ward.

I had time to indulge in a little more close up work, utilising not a full lens, but instead a Polaroid lens cap set of varying magnifications.  If I’m honest, and you’re keen on close up work (my first love in photography) you will likely only use the 10x lens, but Polaroid do sell sets of 4 with varying magnifications none the less. Here the snaps are all in 10x.
